Open Source Platform
for interconnected virtual worlds

Virtual Expo is a virtual exhibiton "hall." It is built up as a large sphere, inside of which the user moves with an avatar by either flying or walking. It challenges and changes the entire concept of space. There are waterfalls, autumn leaves, ice cubes - the seasons change as the user moves on the surface and comes across exhibition material and other users’ avatars.

realXtend - Beneath The Waves is a world where avatars meet in a translucent underwater aquarium. The user can transform herself from a human to a fish and back. This aquarium could function as a meeting place or as a 3D business meeting environment. A coral reef offers an experience of moving underwater amongst fish without the restrictions of real world limits. Beneath The Waves includes also a narrative game that guides users to experiment with different actions and showcases how flexible realXtend could be as a free game engine.

With 0.4 optimization and the new rexbots, we have been able to have over 300 bots on our LAN servers:
